99 Bikes & Qhubeka

99 Bikes & Qhubeka

WHY QHUBEKA IS SO IMPORTANT

Much of Africa’s population has no access to personal transport and people have to walk long distances to access job opportunities, education, healthcare, shops and community services. Schoolchildren are particularly badly affected by this lack of mobility.

Strong partnership

99 Bikes donated over $30,000 to Qhubeka last year through staff member's direct earnings. We believe that bicycles are a means to enrich the lives of individuals and communities and we are passionate about contributing to this.

Making a real difference

Every $250 donated to Qhubeka delivers one bike, as well as the important incentive programs that help drive educational and social improvements amongst residents striving to earn a bike.

MORE ABOUT QHUBEKA

Qhubeka is a volunteer organisation that helps people progress by giving bicycles in return for work done to improve communities, the environment or academic results. Having a bicycle changes lives by increasing the distance people can travel, what they can carry, where they can go and how fast they can get there.
